Marketbridge Names Bob Ray as CEO to Power Enterprise Growth

The‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ growth consultancy-marketing firm Marketbridge declared on the same day that it has acknowledged Bob Ray as its new Chief Executive Officer. The leadership change heralds a fresh stage for Marketbridge. Ray takes over from the ex-CEO John Shomaker, who will remain as a Board Advisor.

During Shomaker’s leadership, MarketBridge built strong capabilities, unified multiple companies into one model, and developed a modern brand tailored for enterprise growth. Now the company is shifting towards scaling as a unified go-to-market operating partner.

Ray is experienced in digital and data-driven agencies. His last position was the head of Merkle B2B within the Dentsu Group. While there, he was instrumental in the transformation of one of the most globally recognized growth agencies. Ray’s clientele has included Cisco, Oracle, AWS, and GE.

Ray reflected that brands of today and growth leaders do not require separate agencies, consultancies, or tech vendors. A unified partner is required—one combining strategy, insight, data, activation, and media—to consistently optimize a complete go-to-market engine. According to him, this unified model is exactly what Marketbridge is creating right now.

At present, the company has almost 400 employees in North America, Europe, and remote hubs globally. Marketbridge is determined to keep on with the investment into decision-intelligence powered by AI, connected analytics, and integrated activation services. Under the leadership of Bob Ray, Marketbridge is set to provide enterprise clients worldwide with outcome-focused, end-to-end growth ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌solutions.
